Subsequently, she has adopted a bold new hairstyle to suit her new life. Years ago, Holmes was known for her cute, natural looks sporting long brunette locks. Now, though, she has made the dramatic move to a short ‘do. It started with a trendy bob that both she and her daughter, Suri, were spotted wearing around town. Now, though, Katie Holmes has opted to go even shorter.
This past summer, she cropped her bob into a pixie that just reaches to her ears. Rather than the traditional, boyish pixie, though, Holmes has taken this look and made it her own. She wears it thick with long layers and bangs parted to the side.
This look surely adds a new level of maturity to the star’s style, but it has received mixed reviews from fans and critics. Some say it makes her look too serious or old, while others think it is chic and sexy. Either way, the star seems content with her new ‘do for now. Whether she will stay short, or perhaps even go shorter, though, is anyone’s guess.
